1. Unfortunately we will continue to see his decline and it is sad to see him going through this. He almost reminds me of Mo Vaughn during his final few seasons when he was with the Mets.

2. Lowrie, I know that Lugo is #1 on the depth chart but Lowrie is younger and in my opinion has more upside because Lugo is extremely streaky and as we've seen when he's off he's off.

3. For the absolute worst. I don't know why they wanted a guy who can't hit and also cannot throw guys out. I'm glad they got Bard but I'm still surprised they got rid of Cash I would have loved a catching tandum of Bard and Cash.

4. Bard probably has learned from his past experience but he shouldn't be the second string catcher, they should have one of the minor league guys who have experience catching the knuckleball to be the number two and to be Wakes personal catcher, the question should be how much does Wake have left?

5. This is one fear I have because we know how much pride Dice-K has for his country. And just like the last WBC the players are not going to be ready to compete at that level and I just hope that Dice-K doesn't throw something out because he wants to be at his very best when that isn't possible at that time of the year. Which is why if you have to do this horrible WBC then it needs to be done right after the season or during the season sort of like the NHL does with the olympics.

6. Lowell will have one of his best years ever. He has to be fired up with all the offseason rumors with him being traded and moving Youk to third. We all know the kind of guy that he is so he will be fired up and have a great season.

7. HIs role will be a bench player at best. After covering him during the playoffs this past year I can tell you that there were many games when he was in the posted started lineup then was scratched because he physically wasn't able to go. Much like Papi as much as I hate to say it, his best years are behind him.

8. I hope he can remorph into the 2007 playoff Ellsbury because I don't think Jonathan Van Every is ready yet to be an everyday centerfielder. And with the trading of Crisp Ellsbury will now have the opportunity to either shine or bust. I hope he is able to shine like he did in '07.

9. Pap will be pap as will Okajima will hopefully regain the form he had in 2007 and not struggle at times as he did last season. Masterson is another young arm who has begun to come into his own. Lopez and Delcarmen you will know what you get with them. Takashi Saito I don't know what to make with him. He didn't have the greatest year with the Dodgers last season but he has a career 1.85 era. His mentality is more of a closer which we already have so removing that pressure from him could help in the long run. Ramon Ramirez never impressed me when he was with the Rockies. Wes Littleton had a good season in 2006 but in 200 and 2008 he went backwards and didn't pitch as well so much like Ramirez I am very scared if Littleton has to come into a game in a pressure situation.
