I missed part of the ceremonies...is Eck there? Would have expected him to be there as one of the living HoF players.

Eck was either the 2nd or 3rd introduced. I didn't see Yaz or Fisk.

Drew ties it up!
Unfortunately Papelbon gave up a run. It was unearned, but New York won't care about that. Heck Varitek could've made a better throw than that to second base! Ugh..

WOW!!! These umps are getting a lot of calls wrong. Two at second base and now the play at the plate. They're close, but this game should be over by now.
Poor umpiring. But what should we expect. It carries the theme from throughout the year.
------------------------------------ A couple more innings gone by and I ask myself, "these guys are all-stars?" Not a single one of them can get a hit on either side to finish this game off.

Oh my goodness....this game....AL down to their last pitcher, NL with only one left....what will Francona do once Kazmir reaches that magic number?

Luckily we don't have to find out. AL wins it in 15 on a sac fly by Young! And our own J.D. Drew gets the All-Star game MVP award. I love it.

thumbs up to you JD.... All the "boo's" even made it that much better for the Red Sox team. Goes to prove what a bunch of uncouth fans that the
Yankees have, showed very bad sportsmanship. The whole thing was way too long and dragged out...Just my opinion...

I fell asleep after the 9th. Woke up about 3am and checked score. Happy for AL and for JD.
Let the It matters controversy begin again!

It was funny to read that if Kazmir and Lidge ran out of steam, the NL was going to pitch Wright andthe AL would have used Drew. I'm glad it didn't get
to that. I do think something needs to be done. Both by baseball and managers in game. Managers need to reserve one start who can actually pitch long if needed
for the extra innings. Neither did that last night, and it almost bit them in the butt.
