You get to see the players interact with their buddies, you get to see them interact with their kids, you get to see the kids chasing down the balls and you get to watch the "big kids" put on a multi-hitter batting practice display. I love it! Tune in to ESPN tonight at 8:00 for the fun. According to mlb.com: "The Derby field is complete with the addition this weekend of Rays rookie sensation Evan Longoria and Twins first baseman Justin Morneau. Longoria and Morneau join the Rangers' Josh Hamilton and the Indians' Grady Sizemore as the American League representatives. On a personal note, having lived with a dual addicted husband (who did not want help and died of cancer because of it) for more than thirty years, I cannot find the words to express the pride I have for Josh and his drive to stay clean and sober. Doing it is the easy part - living it is the hard part, and the fact that he goes nowhere without his sponsor shows how determined he is to remain the person he is today. He is a winner on many levels, even if he did not walk away with the trophy. There are many who could take lessons from him...
