Most recently, Masterson walked five and allowed four runs over six innings in a 5-4 loss to the Rays. Masterson has walked three or more batters in four of his last five starts. In six June starts, Masterson was 3-2 with a 4.54 ERA. This is his first career start at Yankee Stadium. Yankees: Mussina's ERA -- currently at 3.87 -- has been under 4.00 over his last four starts. It seems like it's just a mistake here and there that's costing him. He hasn't walked more than two batters in a game this season. Hot Dawg Posts: 1095 07/05/08 5:20 PM Wistah Dawg	I gotta give some credit to Mussina. The guy has definitely learned how to "pitch". After last year and the start of this year I think everyone thought his career was about over. But he's got such great command he has been able to work around his speed issues. With that said, I also really like Masterson. I think once he learns how to pitch to left-handed batters he's gonna be a really good pitcher. I wish we had a catcher that could throw like Molina. Unfortunately we already have one that hits like him............. i wouldn't give too much credit to mussina, even though buck and mccarver have a hard on for him, he pitched alright but we look horrible offensively. jose veras and kyle farnsworth have also shut us down. just a bad day at the plate for everyone. varitek looks ridiculous.

I was perfectly happy losing this game 2-0, but that way we lost it now has got me completely heated. Nothing more so than Tek. Absolutely pathetic.
