Me too Kate. I can't stomach too many political shows but Russert seemed to be able to talk to guests on each side of the aisle and ask the tough
questions. I watched him nearly every Sunday.

This one was a real surprise. Will be very strange to watch Meet the Press this week with no Tim.

The tribute presented by his colleagues during the Meet the Press slot was very moving, especially the last of it with The Boss in the background and the video
montage followed by Russert's own words paying tribute to his dad and his son. Time for the tissues.

Tim's son, Luke,will be on the Today Show tomorrow morning. I KNOW I could not have done that when my Dad passed away suddenly.
The tribute this morning was very well done. And it did require tissues. Have caught parts of the replays over the weekend of other shows of Tim's. Never read his books. Think I will.......

Yeah the tribute was a tear-jerker, especially at the end. It was very well done, and tasteful, though. Rob & I watched every Sunday too. We are both
still in shock.
