Am I the only one who is actually excited for the Rays? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them finish behind the Sox, but at the same time I
am glad they are doing well. They've built a team with young talented pitchers and they are performing well. I'm oddly not upset to be in 2nd place at
the moment. Weird...

Yes, sbukoski, I'm happy for them too.
They do have a ton of talent, and I wouldn't be surprised if they stuck around in the race until the end!
Every day is a new adventure!

Can a dawg get some dap now...don't want to selfproclaim but who told everybody the Rays were for real this year; they'll finish above .500 and who
knows where in the east they'll finish but yeah it's good to see them playing well and making the East more than a two team race...well if the Yanks
can rewake up that is.

I'm really excited for them. We moved to Florida just before they started the team so we've been following them from day one. I'm glad they're
doing well.

The Rays have certainly played well through 6 weeks in 2008. Let's not get ahead of ourselves though, they have quite a bit of talent in Longoria, Crawford, Upton etc offensively. It will and always does come down to pitching and I am not so sure that Sonnanstine, Shields and Jackson are ready to go a full season.

I am too, thought now they make me a little nervous. I think the A.L. East is absolutely tough this year except there is that one struggling team....

I want to congratulate the Rays for winning their 71st game (most ever in club history). I think no one thought they would do this. Even at the all-star break
everyone was waiting for them to collapse. And they haven't. If we can't win the division, I'd be happy to see the Rays do it. With that said, I
hope they falter and we overtake them.

If we can't start playing good teams better and if we can't win on the road, the Rays will win the division.

Injuries have started to hit the Rays, Crawford and Longoria may be out the rest of the season.

Crawford has been hurt a lot this season. They just got Baldelli back so that should help them in the outfield.

Well they may not be able to rely on Baldelli. That guy has his own table in the trainers room. In the past two seasons he has played in 36 games. But he is
still very young so anything is possible.
