Wow, after 6 games the Rays have locked up Evan Longoria to a 6 year deal in the neighborhood of $17.5MM. That is moving quickly on a future star to keep him
from having a Papelbon moment like this year and what is likely to be an ugly arbitration fight next year. Good for the Rays, looks like the new management may
actually have a plan.
