I guess it must be going around. The problem with this stuff in cold weather is that it can end up going from a little nagging injury to a big deal. When I say this I am thinking of Beckett for the RS as well. Sorry to ask this--did we just win ANOTHER World Series?

Petitte just threw 77 pitches off the mound yesterday or Saturday (I can't remember which) in a simulated game situation and he reported no problems. You have to believe the change from Florida to NY or Boston is going to adversely affect pitchers who have chronic back problems. You just hope they can work through them and not have them seize up over the course of the season. I remember two years ago when Mike Mussina was having those problems.
