It appears that Manny Delcarman has been pitching with his eyes closed......literally. While struggling in spring training this year pitching coach has had Manny practice his delivery with his eyes closed. It is a visualization technique he is employing with Manny and thus far it seems to have worked.
He is now back in contention for the final spot in the bullpen. I really like this kid. Lots of upside and if practicing with his eyes closed does the trick.....I am all for it. Farrell seems to be paying dividends with Manny. That can only be a positive with the rotation and pen.
