Since the countdown hasn't been posted on the Remy Report, I figured I'd start a thread with the countdown. For those of you unfamiliar with the countdown, a stat is posted daily that coincides with the number of days until Opening Day:

In 1916, a young 21 year old lefty ace led the Red Sox to their 4th WS Championship while winning 23 games and posting a 1.75 ERA, but was wild off the field and on the mound...he walked 118 batters (3rd in the league).
That young pitcher's name? George Herman "Babe" Ruth |

Is it way too early for me to write 40 tickets is the number I was able to come away with for Christmas At Fenway yesterday? Probably. John Henry rules!

Only if I can say I am in the VWR for #11.
Too bad the amount we spend on the Sox in on year is too large to count as a day. Maybe we can include a fraction. Karen |

I had about 30 VWRs open for about 5 hours, and I was able to purchase 0 tickets. I am about to stomp on my laptop 10 times in frustration, and it will cost me about 1,500 dollars to buy a new one.

Dana Kiecker had 114 strikeouts in his Sox Career. Sorry I missed yesterday.
Just an FYI, this is not necessarily a thread, more of a fun check in everyday. The last two years I did a countdown like this one that John posted on the Remy Report site everyday. This year there seems to be no room, so I opted to put it on the board.

For 12/13:
Roger Clemens had 111 losses in his Red Sox career, thus far. If the Diceman opts to head back to the Far East, my bet is that the Sox make a full court push for the Rocket.
