Posts: 52 01/13/04 11:35 AM	Hi folks, Yes ... Curt will be joining us on Wednesday at 7:30 pm est. There are a few issues, one of which is the 25 person limit. Curt is comfortable on ez board and we are not going to ask him to deal with Yahoo. The good thing about ezboard is that I can easily post a transcript and will have one available immediately after the chat. I really need people to stay out of the room until 7:30 so that Curt, Jerry, and I can get in. Now, I understand that as the admin person I can always get in - but that isn't true for Curt. For other chats we may use the Yahoo board. It's only because Curt is comfortable here that we are doing it here. The other issue is that Curt likes his PRIVACY on the board and we have to be careful what we share. He is very computer saavy and will have no problem keeping up with us. It is an INFORMAL chat and there won't be any questions prepared. It will be like just hanging out with him. So, let's just deal with the issues at hand and show Curt that we are a good group of folks to hang out with. I have been in the chat room with him on SoSH and can tell you that he is so down to earth it will blow your mind. Money and fame has NOT gotten to him! Trish

Makes the odds of getting in a little better for the masses. Concerning Curt's privacy, could the transcript be posted in a members-only forum/thread. That way, those of us who are shut out of the chat can still know what happened. Since the transcript will not be open to the entire world -- only members of RemDawg Nation, maybe Curt would not mind it being posted. Just a thought.

We went pretty easy on Tom Werner, but I think Curt is more down to earth and would have no problem rolling up his sleeves and answering the hard line inquiries. He may even be disappointed if we throw him too many softballs.

It would allow everyone to be involved (rather than a 25 seat cap in the chat room) and the thread can be preserved for anyone who wasn't able to be there for the event. Jerry did a similiar format on SOSH a few months back.

That way, everyone can participate and everyone can read what's going on as well. Actually, Curt tried doing that this morning on SOSH and had some problems with people asking too many questions at one time, but I think if we time it right it should work. Katie

I personally, have no problem letting other people have a chance to get in the chat room though. While I would love to ask Curt a question, I'm sure that others have some darn good ones too.
