It's been a while since I've been here, but I thought I'd take the time to congratulate your team on a dominating World Series victory. First, it shows how far the Red Sox have come and secondly it shows how much more dominant the AL is than the NL.
The moves the Red Sox have made remind me of how it used to be in the Bronx. Bring guys up through the system and fill in with veterans. You better hope that Theo and Lucchino don't fall into the same pitfalls as the Steinbrenners did. Go for the big names and forego the kids.
You'll notice the Yankees are getting back to that, so I think in the long run we'll be o.k. It may take a few years to right the ship, but hopefully they'll continue in the direction they're going.
Anyway congratulations...well deserved and you know hard it is for a Yankees fan to say that.
BTW, do us a favor and sign A-Fraud. That'll guarantee you'll never win a championship. I'll take Mike Lowell any day of the week.
