I know this guy cant keep inherited runners from scoring, but lets ignore that for a sec. THIS GUY IS SICK. His ERA is 1.38 and hes among the leaders in appereances. He gave up 1 ER in july for an ERA of 0.78, OMG. He is having the best year of his career at 39 years old, lets give him some respect around here.

Timlin is valuable but that stat is deceiving b/c he does let up a lot of inherited runners. Not ready to DFA yet though!! He is still a valuable asset to our bullpen!!

If you had to give the ball to someone, who will it be? Timlin or Myers, and to be honest, Timlin does strand a lot of inherited runners. The solution? Just don't give him runners to score. That stat means he pitches better from the stretch, correct? So just let him do his thing. I like Timlin, though he's changed his style sience that 9 walk season, and thats fine because he's grown in effectivness.

That just shouldnt of happend.
They should have just kept Wakefield in, he couldnthave done mush worse than, Mike "Knock em all in" Timlin if any one can save the day its Dave & Manny BD
