and no matter how bad lester has looked, he has no chance of winning when we can't score 1 run. you can't expect him to shut everyone done every night.

At least with Wake going tomorrow, we won't see Tek at bat

I think Tek calls a good game HOWEVER if the pitcher sucks and Tito doesn't pull them he has to work with what he has. I do think that the lineup
absolutely needs to be shaken up. Sit those not producing and give others a chance. What can it hurt ... but Tito is so set in his ways. He's so unflexable
when it comes to what he does and that drives me nuts. Get Coco and anyone else in there that hasn't played and try something new. Big Papi needs to sit
and so does Ellsbury for awhile.
But the Sox also have this problem with men on base. They hardly ever hit HRs with men on and here's Kotsay 2 for 2 ... he comes up with a man on and zippo. Soooo frustrating to watch. Sharon |

Ok, critical .... runners at the corners .... no outs ..... if they don't produce ... they are toast.

Ok, the Sox just proved my point. Yeah they got one run on a sac fly BUT Dustin cames up ... sure thing right? ... I mean he's hotter than hell and is 2
for 2 .... NOPE ... hits into a DP. I swear it's mental thing with this team.
Absolutely drives me nuts. |

Yeah, watching other things was better for my mood tonight. I checked in enough to know it wasn't pretty.
I would love to see Wake come and rescue the team tomorrow night. It sure wasn't pretty tonight. |

This certainly wasn't a pretty one, the Sox didn't have a lot of life but we've been in worse situations before and came back and can do it again.

It was frustrating enough watching the game last night, but now I gotta go through a day of "hahaha" because of all the people here who are suddenly
diehard Rays fans. And I'm gonna get an earful from all the Yankees fans tonight at the bowling alley.

EVERYBODY here is a Rays fan now. And everywhere you go, everything you read, everything on the news/radio here is making fun of Red Sox fans because for so
many years they've outnumbered Rays fans at the Trop. I was getting ready for work this morning and had the news on the TV and the first thing the
newscasters did after announcing the win was to say "ahhhhh, the poooooooor Red Sox fans!!!"

Your fans come and go based on how well your team does. It wasn't always Red Sox Nation. I remember when the park was half empty a lot of the days and
getting a ticket was easy. There definitely weren't as many Sox fans back then.
I would actually consider myself a Rays fan. Obviously the Sox are my #1, but if we are beaten, I will be truly pulling for the Rays. I like their manager and I like their team.
