That being said, they are in fact using Byrd this Friday instead of Clay. It will be interesting to see how they utilize Clay now that we have someone with Byrds consistency. I think picking Byrd up is gonna work out very well. The man has been on fire since the break. (4-0 with a 1.24 ERA) If he can keep throwing the way he has been of late, I will have alot more confidence that we can overtake the Rays and win the division.
