From what was reported is he put in papers to accept a buyout package from the Globe around April but the Globe rejected the package and Edes has appealed that
decision, the appeal from reports was to be heard sometime around now. Edes had agreed with Yahoo Sports to go there, I checked through Yahoo's site and
didn't see him listed.
Also Rob Bradford from the Herald is leaving there at the end of the month to go to weei.com. |

Gordon was on the pre-game show tonight. Maybe he had been using up his vacation tme in anticipation of leaving the Globe?

I read on another website by someone who talked to Gordon last night that his last coverage for the Globe will be the ASG. He will be covering MLB for Yahoo
and will still cover the RS because of the national interest in them.

I agree Heidi adds nothing (and it was hysterical when she momentarily forgot Joe Maddon's name during one of her fluff items) but she's much better to
look at than Gordo. But more seriously, Gordo's vendetta against Manny and his shilling for the FO hurt his credibility IMO.
