Let's see if this will take off. I had the idea, as I looked at 2 books I recently finished, that perhaps we could start a Pay it Forward Book
Swap.
The way it will work is anyone who has a book they would like to pass on may post in this thread with the information and perhaps a link to a description of the book at Amazon or some other website.
The first person who posts that they would like the book would then "own" the book. Address info would be exchanged off-board using Yuku Mail.
The person offering the book would mail the book to the claimant and would pay postage.
The only requirement is that the person receiving the book must re-post offering the book again and paying the postage to the next claimant.
If a book is not claimed within a month of posting the current owner is free to do whatever they choose with the book.
The theory ould be by claiming another book that is offered, we each recoup the costs incurred to mail our book to others.
I will start by offering Deep Drive and Once Upon a Fastball.
I enjoyed both, but find I can no longer save every book forever. Just takes up too much room!
