Hot Dawg Posts: 1211 05/26/08 3:38 PM Philly Dawg	Speaking of Road Trips I had one Saturday which was short for me to go to the Portland Sea Dogs game BUT I got to meet the lovely Paxilrod (Lisa), her husband, son, daughter, and her dad for a while....she had a long road trip from the northlands of Maine but made the trip as her son Connor was one of the student scholars honored before the game on the field....that was certainly very special....it was so good to meet Lisa and in person....she has a wonderful family and a "dawggone good time was had by all" ---so I can vouch paxilrod is real and a die hard Sox fan.....she had on #15 Red Sox Jersey.....Thanks Lisa we finally did meet up..... And Chaggy yes I loved Chicago and in fact plan on going back sometime in August....having lived in Philly and surrounding areas and many trip to New York City and of course Boston I admit I am in love with Chicago....fantastic place.... Just know that you will need exactly $6 in cash for the Ohio turnpike (they lilve in the Stone Age, no EZPass) I got to go to parts of Chicago I never knew existed. What a cultural experience. But take it from me, fillup in Indiana first. Seriously, your wallet will thank you. I wish I could go to a SeaDogs game. It is actually cheaper to go to Fenway with gas prices now

Rem Pup Posts: 396 06/17/08 10:14 AM Rem Pup	It is time for our annual baseball trip. So far we have seen Baltimore, Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh. This year we am headed to Cleveland to catch a couple games at The Jake aka Progressive field. Anyone been there of late and can give me some good ideas for things to do or places to eat? We are planning to see the Rock & Roll HOF and a stadium tour but open to other options. Let me know. Hot Dawg Posts: 1118 06/22/08 2:28 AM Hot Dawg	We are embarking on a BIG road trip starting this Friday - Rob got a job at Mississippi State starting in January, the house sold VERY quickly so we are closing on Friday and heading out in the RV that we bought! We will make our way slowly, 1st to MA to visit the homeland (and family of course), and we'll see many national parks on the way, then we'll be heading south, hopefully seeing the Sox in Baltimore, and spending about a week taking in the sights in DC before we point our Bounder southwest & head for our new hometown. CRAZY!!! ~ Kate :)

If I find a job before classes start, I'll drop the classes, but I do want to finish my master's at MSU - but probably not in accounting. I'm seriously considering getting a teaching certificate so I can have summers off with Rob. Yeah... I've never lived in the South. Should be interesting! ~ Kate :)
