Everyone is entitled to their opinion. In talking to several people at work from die hard to passing fans, they all enjoyed the "show" last night
and enjoy Jerry's antics regularly.

Yes, he's the color man, but he's been doing it for 20 years, and he's also built a small empire based on his personality. He is part of the
reason many fans tune in to NESN. We record every game on DVR, that way if there's something we don't want to watch, we can skip it later.

I appreciate his being "just the color man" as Joan says, whenever I'm subjected to a game on ESPN or FOX. In watching the pre-game festivities I
came to realize that Jerry is the catalyst for whomever is sitting in the other chair.
