No longer reaping the benefits of facing the pathetic last place MFY, Jon Lester (1-2, 4.50) and the Red Sox move on to Cleveland to finish what they started
in October against Jake Westbrook (1-1, 2.76) and the Indians. Westbrook started the game that sent Boston to the World Series last year. Lester started the
game that won said World Series. Westbrook has trouble striking people out. Lester has trouble throwing strikes.
After fervent efforts to remove a David Ortiz jersey from the foundation of The Toilet Part Deux, MFY officials are receiving unconfirmed reports that during the 2007 season, Ortiz and other Red Sox players may have spit on the current Toilet field and dugout as many as hundreds of times. The Steinbrothers are currently denying the reports as hogwash, but witnesses on scene report diggers have been ripping into that field like it's a Philip Hughes fastball; no word on whether the field is currently in the Fenway Park bleachers.
