I was very saddened to learn of Peggy's passing........... she has been a friend for quite a while always dropping me a note to check in on my wife. While I too have not been in chat or spent much time on the board recently, Peg was one of the originals and will be missed greatly. Godspeed my friend......

I have many fond memories of good times spent with Peggy, either in chat, or at Fenway, out in Box 92. Whether it was cheering over a great play, having a few laughs between innings, it was always fun... win or lose. Over the last couple of years, we saw far more W's than L's, but every time we got together was a "W" win OR lose.

This is my first post here in well... years. I will also remember the long nights spent on the yahoo mb with all the original folks including Peggy. Peggy took me to several games, most notably game four vs. the Yankees in 2004. I brought a sign saying "we still believe" and the next day my picture along with Peggy was featured on redsox.com. I wish there was a way to find that picture now.

I had no idea that Peggy was sick, and am grateful to Patti for sharing the sad...

I will miss Peggy. She was very fun to chat with. I had heard that she was sick and was truly saddened by her passing. I was hoping that she would pull through so we could talk Red Sox and Tim Wakefield at least one more time.

I'm happy that she got to see her beloved Sox win again last year.

Peggy & I had our differences but it's all water under the bridge. I know that she really did care about me... she expressed her genuine, heartfelt concern for my well-being on more than one occasion, and I kept her on my email list of folks who receive periodic updates on the happenings of our family. Thanks, Patti, for sending me the email about Peggy. I have not been around in awhile and would not have known otherwise. Wow, as others have said, 62 is way too young! I think Peg would be truly touched by this thread. Good dawgs. Pat you pinned it, although Peggy shared with many of the 'old' (don't take this personally) dawgs everyone respected her privacy. Peg is the first remular that I know of that has passed. Many of us have lost family but all of the remulars have pretty much stayed intact (that we know of). I am wondering what Peggy has to say to Ted or better yet 'Jr' YIKES!

I also learned of Peggy's passing via Patti's message. I didn't know Peggy all that well, but I was extremely shocked to learn this.

I was shocked to get an e-mail from Patti. Peggy will be missed. I was lucky to have met her a couple of times and of course there was always chat.

I'm not a Remular and really didn't know Peggy that well, although I do remember chatting with her. One certainly knew she loved animals, and I expect she'd be one of a handful to care that a newborn preemie kitten passed away (peacefully) snuggled against me this morning despite my best efforts to save it. (Thank you to the Special Dawg who was nearby with me on this today; you know who you are.) I hope they find each...

I am so grateful to all of you for posting your memories of Peggy, because I only knew her "long distance" and missed out on the in person relationship. We had a lot in common: we were both over 60, both had degrees from divinity schools, both worked for non-profits, both were Episcopalian, both were victims of fibromyalgia, she was a Terrier and my husband taught English literature at BU at about the time she was an...
