So I read this is a great deal for the Sox, because they can try to move Coco now (or Ellsbury, I guess) and if they are unable to get what they want, they keep both of them and Kielty becomes a FA. It's very hard to believe that Kielty would sign if there were already 4 starting caliber outfielders in the picture; that would basically give him zero starts. He must have been given assurance that Crisp would be gone or he wouldn't have signed IMO.
